COVID-19 Update for AIMS Employees March 18, 2020
We are continuing to update all of you as we progress through this difficult time. This week we have fielded several questions about what to do if an employee is sick. ** Please read this email**
Please make sure you do not have anyone working while they are sick
1. If you are sick STAY HOME.
2. If you have a temperature above 100.4 STAY HOME.
3. If an employee becomes sick during their shift, they should be sent home.
4. If you have sick family members at home, please do not come to work.
The recommended guidelines if you have been exposed to someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 or if you test positive, is to self-quarantine for 14 days. Which means stay home and do not interact with the public – CONTACT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL IMMEDIATELY- for professional guidance.

If you do not have a primary care physician and participate in AIMS Companies Medical Plan should register at www.mycigna.com to locate a provider in your area or contact the CIGNA Customer Service at 1-866-494-2111.

We understand everyone has a heightened level of concern; so if you are coughing or sneezing due to allergies/dust, please do so into the bend of your elbow or a tissue. Then wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water or use an alcohol based hand sanitizer. Please continue to sanitize and clean your work areas throughout the day, including sanitizing trucks and all other high touch surface areas. Everyone should take initiative to do this!
MOST IMPORTANTLY - Watch for COVID-19 symptoms
Reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness
The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.*
Fever
Cough
Shortness of breath
Symptoms fever.

If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately. Emergency warning signs include*:
1. Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
2. Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
3. New confusion or inability to arouse
4. Bluish lips or face
